Psychological Services are offered at JPM:

In many cases, pain and medical disorders bring with them more than just physical discomfort. They are often associated with changes in: your emotional State – including depression and anxiety, your lifestyle, your relationships with family and friends, your work and finances, and your daily and pleasurable activities

In addition, these emotional and social changes may interfere with the course of recovery from illness and injury. In some cases, these physical problems need to be addressed with more than medical treatment or medications alone. Psychological services are provided for the assessment and management of the emotional distress associated with medical conditions.

Also, we offer a pain management support group for patient’s and their family the last Wednesday of every month.  Come join us for a supportive environment to discuss your concerns and goals.
